Security Guard

OBJECTIVE:

The Security Guard maintains a controlled facility/environment, under the supervision of the Security Manager. Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly. Responding to emergencies and ensuring that all protocols are followed.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

HS Diploma, or equivalent, 1 year of relevant experience, knowledge of computer applications.
Must posses a valid drivers license to drive, insurance and motor vehicle report.
Able sit, stand, lift and/or move up to 25lbs, daily uses of hands, fingers to handle objects, tools or controls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patrol facilities, monitor, operate, and maintain any and all security surveillance equipment (i.e. closed circuit televisions, alarm system, etc.)
Inform the proper personnel/authorities in an emergency and take appropriate action.
Maintain a complete daily log and incident reports.
Check all visitors in and out, making sure employees have the proper I.D. and company badges when necessary.
Make sure any and all items belonging to BIOQUAL, Inc. have the proper authorization before being allowed to leave the premises.
Handle any unauthorized assembly or meeting on company property.
Monitor the switchboard after normal business hours and on weekends and holidays.
Consistently adhere to all safety procedures and standard operating procedures which are essential for successful operation of a facility involved with bio-hazards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
