Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Private Wealth Advisor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and investment management to join a high growth advisory team in our Charlotte Office. This role will report directly to the Senior Private Wealth Advisor and requires a self-starter who is excited to support team members in providing world-class service to the team’s clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service: Supports Senior Private Wealth Advisor in serving clients with excellence and may service as primary point of contact for assigned client relationships. Provides excellent service to an affluent client base by interpreting and delivering new financial plans to new clients and on-going counsel and support to existing clients. Serves Senior Private Wealth Advisor in a way that that helps her gain additional leverage to focus on business development activities.
- Business Development: Creates and seizes business development opportunities to further mission of the Company and have increasing impact in the lives of both current and potential future clients’ lives.
- Team Leadership: Sincerely values people and applies the principles embodied in the Company’s Management Language to assist with leading the team in a manner that respects and values each team member. Approaches work, interactions, and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values.
Requirements
- Financial Planning Expertise: 5 + years prior experience as a Financial Planner and/or Financial Advisor, with the demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial issues.
- Biblical Knowledge: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of both the old and new testaments of the Bible, particularly with regards to scriptural references to money and finances, and an ability to apply and integrate this knowledge into all phases of client counsel.
- Client/Team Focus: Desire to serve clients and co-workers with excellence.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. Organized, with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple time-sensitive tasks.
- Detail Oriented: Comfortable working with a high level of detail.
- Sense of Urgency/Responsiveness: Proactive planning and responsiveness to urgent needs
- Team Player: Thrives in a team environment as well as working independently. Displays and encourages a servant mentality and team mindedness.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certified Financial Planner designation, CPA, or CFA is strongly preferred.
