Job Summary:
The Corporate Senior Accountant is responsible for the detailed monthly accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting of Peachtree’s corporate entities. This position addresses deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation and financial reporting and requires proven analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager.
Duties and Functions:
- Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations for various corporate entities.
- Complete monthly close procedures, meeting internal and external reporting deadlines.
- Calculate various monthly management fees earned by corporate entities.
- Manage and reconcile special-purpose cash accounts.
- Coordinate monthly intercompany billings to ensure timely reimbursements.
- Assist with year-end audit and tax return preparation and supporting documentation.
- Serve as a partner to other departments and provide data and reports as requested.
- Collaborate with payroll department on state withholding account registrations.
- Support process improvement projects related to corporate accounting.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to handle multiple job assignments at the same time.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; real estate/hospitality industry preferred.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial accounting software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, M3, Sage, Peoplesoft, NetSuite etc.
- HIA experience huge plus.
