About the Role
The NetSuite System Administrator/Developer will have primary responsibility for NetSuite functionality changes and ongoing administration. The NetSuite Administrator will help coordinate the organization’s quality, security, and maintenance of data, as well as assist in addressing end-user requests. This position is expected to serve as the subject matter expert for NetSuite, often collaborating with the Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain and Technology departments to optimize system functionality and achieve process improvement throughout the Company.A Day in the Life

  • Establish policies and procedures related to the collection and accuracy of data and perform tests on the data systems
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain:
  • Customer and franchise fee data and connectivity to NetSuite from Zenoti (POS), FranConnect, etc.
  • Integration of weekly franchisee sales information (required for royalty invoicing) from the POS system into NetSuite
  • Live integration with third party supply chain vendors such as MedLine, ArcBest, FedEx, Shopify/Multify, TeamDynamix, Snowflake and other 3PL applications
  • Assist in integration design and development of data extracts from NetSuite (actual results) to Oracle PBCS for budgeting and forecasting. Similarly, develop and maintain forecast data loads into NetSuite
  • Collaborate with end-users to troubleshoot data processing errors and then remediate
  • Assist with daily reconciliation and regular data integration health check-ins for ERP supporting systems including: Netsuite, Shopify/Multify, GXO, ArcBest, FedEx, ADP, Concur and FranConnect
  • In NetSuite, create new dashboards, saved searches, manage users, roles and permissions, KPIs/Metrics, custom reports and fields, and create custom workflows
  • Responsible for creating and implementing training procedures directly related to NetSuite including training of staff and end-users in support mechanisms
  • Serve as a liaison between Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain and Technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and well understood
  • Ensure user business requirement documentation remains current and maintain system configuration documentation
  • Experience in implementing data governance organization structure, developing associated policies and procedures, and enforcing the compliance of procedures in a large-scale matrix organization
  • Assess the control environment and create a Risk and Control Matrix surrounding the revenue process, inclusive of key business process, application, and interface controls
  • Establish a test plan and test cases for critical controls and reports
  • Perform technical impact analysis and develop/administer biannual (end of Q1 and Q3) New Release preview testing plan in support of NetSuite's biannual releases
  • Appraise Segregation of Duties and identify compensating controls designed to cover SOD conflicts at the role and user level
  • Drive organizational change from request to implementation using TeamDynamix and additional GRC tools to ensure policies are followed
  • Advise management on upgrades and changes that could affect the Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain teams’ familiarity with all system integrations with NetSuite
  • Document designs and use Celigo iPaaS platform to develop integration processes to perform data extracts/loads to and from multiple sources
  • Manage complex and dynamic finance solutions using NetSuite as well as Oracle PBCS, Shopify, ADP, Concur and Avalara
  • Conduct user training to optimize system functionality

  • NetSuite and relevant integration / iPaaS Administration, practical data management and data training experience

Education and Experience

  • Requires 4-7 years of hands-on work experience NetSuite development and administration
  • Certified as a NetSuite Administrator preferred 
  • Certified as a Celigo Production Administrator preferred 
  • Strong financial/accounting and supply chain exposure in the retail sector preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, finance, accounting or related field preferred
