Non-magnetic inductors are also available for situations where magnetic components would compromise system performance, as in medical imaging (MRI) equipment.SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our finance team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of vendor management and customer invoicing specific to the manufacturing sector.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

           Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:        

Three (3) + years of experience in AP/AR roles within a manufacturing environment.

KNOWLEDGE:       

Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office applications and ERP software. Solid understanding of US GAAP and standard financial procedures.

SKILLS:                    

Ability to multitask and drive projects through to completion with proven organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:


Accounts Payable (AP)


  • Process and verify vendor invoices related to raw materials, supplies, and services, ensuring proper matching to purchase orders and receiving reports.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies in invoices and receipts.
  • Ensure timely payment to vendors to maintain good supplier relationships and take advantage of early payment discounts.
  • Manage AP aging reports and prepare weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
  • Reconcile AP subledger with the general ledger and assist in accrual entries for month-end closing.

Accounts Receivable (AR)


  • Prepare and issue invoices for products delivered to customers, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and terms.
  • Post customer payments (checks, wire transfers, ACH) and reconcile the AR subledger to the general ledger.
  • Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue invoices and follow up on collections with the sales team and customers.
  • Generate AR aging reports and maintain accurate records of collections efforts.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in customer accounts, including returns, discounts, and chargebacks.

General Accounting & Reporting


  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in AP/AR workflows, focusing on automation and efficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven organizational skills with an ability to multitask and drive projects through to completion.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
