Customer Service Representative- Skyline Aviation

Skyline Aviation is seeking a full time Customer Service Representative (CSR). This role is responsible for providing professional and cheerful service to all customers, passengers and visitors who pass through the FBO. CSRs are the face of Skyline Aviation to our customers and are responsible for providing individual customer needs as appropriate. Weekend availability is required. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Greet pilots and passengers at aircraft and in FBO lobby.
  • Respond to in-person, telephone, and e-mails inquiries from all customers. Dispatch service requests in a professional and timely manner to all aircraft.
  • Perform the daily customer service duties such as arrival and departure scheduling, hotel reservations, rental car reservations, catering orders, fuel orders etc.
  • Be available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their questions or concerns.
  • Follows direction requiring specific attention to details and decision-making within establish guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Receives payment from all customers in-person, by phone or e-mail, this includes verifying payments amounts, posting payments, and issuing receipts and invoices.
  • Determine the needs of pilots and crew (such as fuel, beverages, ice, or newspapers). 
  • Ensure all departing aircraft have all requested amenities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all transactions while ensuring all orders are Invoiced properly.
  • Staging of car rentals ramp/aircraft side.
  • Ensuring coffee/tea and all coffee bar supplies are ordered or replenished, when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, company vehicles, ice machine, catering fridge, etc.
  • Ability to give accurate and detailed directions in and around the airport, nearby hotels, and restaurants. 
  • Recording and Invoicing of maintenance work.
  • Maintaining company Facebook page and identifying/managing industry marketing opportunities.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent.      
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work weekends. 
  • Previous office experience or customer service experience in the hospitality arena serving high end clientele highly desired. Professional highly refined customer service skills are necessary as demonstrated by a “can-do” attitude, friendly demeanor, consistent good judgment, above average problem-solving skills, even temperament, strong interpersonal skills, and the desire to “go the extra mile” to create satisfied customers.
  • Previous experience with bookkeeping and understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize with ease.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Products.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills required; previous sale transaction experience desired.
  • Must be detail-oriented and committed to producing an accurate work product.
  • Must possess basic computer and general office skills (i.e. typing, use of calculator, familiarity with windows environment).
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well alone with limited supervision and able to work well with others.
