Summary:
Vaxcyte is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. This role will be a key member of the HR Business Partner team headquartered in the US and will work in close collaboration with our VP, Managing Director in Visp. As a trusted thought partner to the senior leadership team, this individual will provide operational HR support, helping to drive business priorities and foster a high-performance culture. The role encompasses a wide range of HR generalist functions including performance management, employee development, onboarding and offboarding, as well as policy and procedure management.
Essential Functions:
- Act as a primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders in Visp, providing guidance and support on a variety of HR matters.
- Partner closely with the US HR team to develop, communicate and implement HR programs including new hire orientation, talent development and performance management, compensation and benefits.
- Support and facilitate employee engagement and development discussions, ensuring effective communication between employees and managers.
- Provide HR support to Visp employees in close partnership with VP, Managing Director and their leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and managers.
- Collaborate with the HR Operations team to ensure accurate processing of employee status changes across necessary systems.
- Support recruiting efforts as needed.
- Champion and reinforce Vaxcyte culture and values.
- Lead and contribute to special projects as requested.
Requirements:
