Full-timeDescriptionCharlotte Mechanical has an immediate opening for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician. Charlotte Mechanical offers competitive salaries and benefits for the service technician that wants to go beyond just repairing equipment.Requirements

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekends, Overtime and On-Call as assigned)


Position Summary: To provide maintenance and service on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with high-quality experience.· High School diploma or its equivalent· Valid driver’s license· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.· Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.· Experience making repairs versus making replacement recommendations.· Effective communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers.· Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.Qualifications desired:• Universal EPA Certification or Type 2 minimum• 2 + years’ experience in HVAC service• Insurable driving record• Possess hand tools needed.

Must pass a pre-employment Drug Screen and Criminal background check.
