Backend Engineer (Python)

Specializing in the retail, restaurant, and hospitality spaces, we help organizations thrive in the digital world.We are looking to grow our team of Artisans with a Senior Python Backend Engineer.About the RoleThe Python Backend Engineer is responsible for developing a backend framework dedicated to continuously running integration tests across the entire enterprise for well-known customers and companies across the country.
You work closely and collaboratively with other Artisans across all disciplines to deliver excellence and innovation to our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Comfortable working with the following technologies and expert level in at least three: Python, PSQL / MySQL / Dynamo DB, SQL Alchemy, AWS Lambda, AWS RDS, AWS
- Leverage APIs across the enterprise to simulate real-world work loads that span across systems
- Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders on progress towards objectives and managing client expectations
- Proactively troubleshoot to deliver high quality solutions to customers and internal partners

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Solution architecture experience required
- Backend API development experience
- Experience building cloud architectures
- Experience with dev-ops automations with AWS
- Direct experience leveraging REST APIs
- Experience in consulting services a plus
Extra Credit
- Degree in computer science or related degree/technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with DevOps automations with multiple cloud providers and technologies
- Golang experience
- Experience with eCommerce and retail solutions and environments
