Summary:

Vaxcyte has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Director, Project Management with a strong focus on ERP/APS systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of the ERP/APS system from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP/APS systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Essential Functions:

Lead the planning and implementation of ERP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
Ensure the ERP systems are configured to meet the specific needs of the organization, including the creation and configuration of templates, standards, workflows, and approval requirements.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
PM will have life cycle responsibilities to manage and monitor ERP/APS beyond initial implementation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in resource management or a related role.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong understanding of ERP/APS systems and their implementation.
PMP Certification and/or Project Management training desired.
Experience with software implementation and validation.
Proven success using Agile project management methodology.
Experience with Agile project management methodology.
Experience with Jira or similar tools.
Ability to manage and align multiple different workstreams and vendors to for timely completion of deliverables.
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels.
Expert analytical skills for interpreting and integrating interdisciplinary project information.
Strong planning and tracking skills, well-organized, focused on results, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong team management skills, including facilitation, conflict resolution, and team development.
Proven influence management and communication skills, at all levels of the organization.
Proactive, with ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and effectively manage change.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project or Smartsheet.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
