Software Engineer IIRemote / Technology / Full-TimeCorestream (corestream.com) is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial tech team.
As a member of an autonomous Agile team, you will help design, write, and deliver features to our end users that drive value and capture revenue through our marketplace application. - Create software in an Agile environment using SCRUM, collaborating with partner teams throughout the tech org.
- Strong desire to work on frontend projects with React and Typescript
- Willingness to work on backend layers of the technology stack, including C#, .Net Core, and SQL Server.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, including the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) capabilities within Azure.
- Apply best practices in software development (Code Reviews, Unit Tests, CI/CD) to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Engage in peer code reviews to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Cooperate closely with the team, scrum masters, and product owners.
- Effectively manage multiple competing priorities through strong organization and communication skills.
Recipe for Success:
- 3 or more years of experience developing large scale SaaS applications.
- Experience coding in C# and one of the major JavaScript frameworks.
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies on enterprise-level application development projects and production support.
- Ability to write clean code, a love of unit testing, and the need to have your software to be usable from the very beginning.
- Pragmatic and business focused thinking; you understand the balance between building the perfect system and the great system.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills while taking ownership and pride in everything you build.
- An appreciation for open and constructive dialog with your fellow team members.
- An understanding of DevOps principles and their role in cross-functional teams.
- BA or BS or equivalent experience is required.
