We want you to Join The Nation!The HR Generalist -- Compensation and Payroll Administrator is a professional position within the Human Resources department and serves as the first line of contact for our employees and managers in the areas of employee onboarding, compensation and payroll. This position draws on solid customer service skills and knowledge of commission and agreement structure in a Sales organization.

Essential Functions:


  • Work with employees and managers to solve inquiries related to employee pay, policy or benefits, or properly escalate in more complex situations.
  • Administer, advise and implement compensation changes for employees and managers, by creating and/or updating employee agreements including commission schedules, under the guidance of the senior compensation partners and Executive leadership.
  • Manage employee data or job changes and follow up with employees and managers on incomplete processes and move to resolution.
  • Respond to general employee relations inquiries and assist in employee onboarding, offer generation and background checks.
  • Navigate HRIS, ensuring data change input is accurate and timely.
  • Maintain confidentiality in employee and HR matters and properly escalate information to HR management that will impact employees and the operations of the HR department.
  • As part of the HR team, contribute to support functions such as state audits and orientation sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations in all work performed.
  • Collaborate and assist with special projects as needed and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Higher education and 2-4 years related work experience supporting the administration of base pay and incentive compensation programs in the mortgage industry or a fast paced Sales environment. Experience in an HR coordinator role desired but not required.
  • Numerical and written attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency, and strong desire to be accurate and produce quality work.
  • Must be comfortable on camera (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) for all colleague interactions, vendor, department, and company meetings.
  • HRIS experience highly desirable.
