SMX is seeking a highly motivated Helpdesk Technician with demonstrated proficiency in customer service and support.
This position requires a DoD secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on a DoD contract.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides first level technical support for personnel in various locations who have NMCI assets and peripherals
- Generates, monitors, and tracks Move-Add-Change (MAC) requests for funded services
- Addresses, escalates and/or tracks local technical issues and remediation
- Facilitates collection of functional requirements from staff and end-users
- Identifies and documents the current functional requirements of NAWCWD applications
- Follows Configuration Management (CM) processes and utilization of tools identified
- Submits Account buildouts for customers
Required Skill & Experience
- Required clearance: Secret
- Proficient with Windows Operating Systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Proficient user of NET and HPSM
- Knowledge of NMCI, Field Services, and STRAN processes and procedures
- General IT certifications
- IT college credits
