Data Analyst
Remote / Technology / Full-TimeAs a Data Analyst you will be responsible for exploring and analyzing data to provide reports, analysis and insight to our stakeholders. You will ensure data is accurate, consistent and reliable for making valid and trustworthy decisions. In addition will be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.
Location:
Corestream is headquartered in Tampa, FL, but with a significant population of remote employees based all over the country, being based in Tampa is not a requirement to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and organizing data, creating dashboards/reports/visual aids, performing trend analysis, and providing insights to support research, ideas and performance
- Enhance strategic decision-making through data analysis and visualization
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to decision makers
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity
- Using Power BI, create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources
- Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions
- Collaborate with data engineers and product analysts to understand requirements and provide transformed data for analysis
- Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights
Recipe for Success:
- Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, and visualization
- Strong SQL skills, with aptitude for learning other analytics tools (e.g. Databricks)
- Proficient in Power BI with the ability to create, test and deploy Power BI models and reports
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness
- Experienced with data modeling and data visualization tools
- Ability to seek information and drive for quality results
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and with onsite and remote staff
- Adaptable and motivated; possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, nimble, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
- Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
- College degree (BS/MS) in related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of working as data analyst
