If you like a fast-paced environment, a team structure that provides support, training, and development, then apply today!The Shop Hand will be part of a team that assist with maintenance, repairs, and overall upkeep of vehicles and equipment.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Support inventory management by tracking, stocking, and organizing supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist in supply management, ensuring necessary parts and materials are readily available for technicians.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and tools as needed.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks, including assisting with equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Help maintain accurate records of tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
  • Follow safety protocols and assist in safety management to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Think critically and problem-solve to support shop operations and efficiency.
  • Work closely with mechanics and technicians to support daily workflow and operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience working in a warehouse or shop environment.
  • Forklift operation experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and think outside the box to solve problems.
  • Motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory and supply management.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or shop experience is a plus.

Position Type & Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility required as job duties demand.
