PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Purpose
Under the direction of the Manager of Cure; the Cure Supervisor(s) will oversee the drying, curing, quality control and organization of products to efficiently process material prior to releasing batches to packaging or MIPS. The Supervisor(s) will also be responsible for overseeing the daily tasks of the Cure Machine Operators, Cure Specialists and Cure Data Technicians ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality and compliance are being met. Additionally, The Cure Supervisors will have to work with other departments such as Trim, Packaging, MIPs, Audits, Compliance and Distribution in order to maintain a fluid work flow of product/materials to meet the demands of the company.
The Cure Supervisor is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance, professionalism and integrity.The salary for this position starts at $56,485 annually
Essential Duties
Procedures, Productivity, and Quality
- Supervise and assist with Takedowns, Burps, Room preparation, Sort, Green Broz., BatchONE, Extract Packaging, Radsource and Cryo Cure
- Takedowns include cleaning of totes, gathering supplies (turkey bags/tote liners), arranging carts and verifying batch information, separating REC from MED
- Burps include organization of carts, arrangement of totes, closing of bags, separating REC from MED
- Room Preparation includes, sweeping, cleaning of equipment (with ISO) ProKure Spraying of room(s) and rotation of equipment (air filters)
- Digital Updates including but not limited to; Applying Post Sort quotas in the North Cure Sheet - designating weight, grade, location of product after it has been sorted. Applying weight changes to the North Cure Sheet for satellite material dry trimmed on the BatchONE Dry Trimmer. This will also include updating the BatchONE Log/Tracker sheet to reflect post BatchONE Dry Trim Weights and Run Times. Updating the Dry Trim Labor Tracking Sheet; post Green Broz.
- Perform weekly Cure Audit of EXT material, ensuring it is labeled and logged accurately and correctly.
- Perform Water Activity Analysis and Data Tracking, to ensure product is taken down once it has reached the desired moisture level.
- Supervise a team of 10+ employees to takedown dried product, cure, inventory, dry trim, and manage the product accordingly.
- Work with Testing, Packaging, Distribution, and Analytics to maintain FIFO of product that is to be cured and dried trimmed to accompany retail’s needs by adhering to all required tests including Pesticide Panel, Microbial, and Potency results. Communicate with packaging and Distribution for product requirements.
- Must have open communication with other departments within Production Facility that are responsible for producing product that is to be packaged, this includes Purchasing, Analytics, Compliance, Extractions, Trim, Packaging, and Distribution.
Process and Controls
- Supervise equipment setup and operation for the equipment.
- Report metrics for productivity rates, inventory, and losses of product due to errors and mistakes.
- Evaluate Processing Cure log daily to maintain efficient usage of labors towards products within Production Facility and adjust processes as needed to increase efficiency.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations through guidance from a manager or supervisor.
- Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented, and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
Leadership and Supervision
- Manage employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.
- Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.
- Establish initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding the company’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company’s standards of service and quality.
- Work collaboratively with all Delt’s employees and business partners.
- Provide effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to the Company’s vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.
Project Management
- Develop and manage projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.
Work Environment
- Keep doors closed when not in use.
- Wear protective clothing when working with plants.
- Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.
Other Duties
- Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.
Job Qualifications
Work Experience
- Three to five years of leadership experience in a related industry or work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a distributed team of managers and associates, vendors, and community members. Success building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and Google mail, calendar, documents.
- Solid organizational skills and a high-level attention to detail.
- Solid oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills and comfort in one-to-one or group situations in a professional and courteous manner.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- BA/BS degree preferred or an additional 2 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
