Product Documentation Specialist
Our mission is to make systems work together so supply chain professionals can do their jobsWhat We DoChain.io connects systems used by shippers, forwarders, agents, and carriers to give them better control over the information they need to manage supply chains. Our plugins make connecting systems fast and reliable so supply chain professionals can solve their business problems with fewer spreadsheets and emails. Our ValuesAt Chain, our values infuse everything we do: how we interact with customers, prospects, partners, competitors, and each other.

We are looking to hire people who embody these traits:

  • Win together: We bring companies and people together, whether shippers and LSPs, software companies and their customers, or teams in the same company. We win when all parties benefit from working with us. We create value through connectivity.
  • Own the outcome: Each of us personally owns the outcomes of our work and the ultimate value delivered to our customers. We follow processes to ensure consistent and high quality outcomes. We find satisfaction in the results we deliver, not the completion of the steps. We fix broken processes. We all understand that personal outcomes only matter when they lead to team success and that the ultimate outcome is winning together.
  • Empower our customers: Our job is to humbly connect our customers, their customers, and their partners. Our first priority is their collective success. We keep our promises, meet deadlines, and always work to make our customer’s job easier. We understand that enabling our customers to be successful through self-service and self-sufficiency is better for them in the long run, so we take the time to empower them through our product and our training.
  • Do it right and on time: Our software supports mission critical business processes. When it doesn't work, people’s lives are affected: they have to work late, they lose customers, they can lose their jobs. Our first job is to make sure our software works to meet the needs of our customers. We also work in an environment where time matters. Delivering late means damaged relationships and lost trust. When we make a time commitment, we stick to it. We will not make time commitments we don't believe in. Given the choice between on time and quality, we choose quality, but we aim for both.

Life at Chain.io

The Chain.io supply chain integration platform represents a new approach to an age-old supply chain question. “How do we make all of these systems and people work together?” Our cloud-based platform solves these problems using an open application programming interface (API), developer friendly tools, an expertly developed data model, and event driven behaviors to make connecting and coordinating systems and people easier than ever before. The platform uses complex, next generation technologies like data graphs, and Artificial Intelligence without all of the heavy lifting involved in most supply chain integration projects.
