The Role As a Creative Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of creative designers to deliver innovative and impactful work. You will set a clear vision for creative projects, providing strategic direction to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with various departments to understand project requirements, deadlines, and constraints, and striking a balance between creative freedom and practical needs. Your leadership will be key in guiding the team to achieve exceptional results while contributing to the overall success of the organization. Responsibilities
- Create, Develop & Own In-House Brands & Identities Take full responsibility for the creation and ongoing development of our in-house brands and identities. This involves conceptualizing brand concepts, designing visual elements, and establishing a cohesive brand voice and identity. Oversee all aspects of brand management, ensuring that all materials and communications consistently reflect the brand’s values and vision.
- Develop Campaigns with Marketing Strategy Collaborate with the Marketing team to devise and implement effective design campaigns. Ensure that campaigns are aligned with overall marketing goals and effectively drive engagement and conversions.
- Support Senior Leadership team on RFP & Presentation Creation Support the senior leadership team in preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and crafting impactful presentations. Ensure that all materials are polished, professional, and tailored to meet the specific needs of potential clients or stakeholders.
- Manage Creative Approvals from Partners & Sales Agents Oversee the process of reviewing creative assets developed by our Partners & Sales Agents. This includes ensuring that they are following brand guidelines, and all creative assets meet the necessary standards before final approval.
- Develop, Manage & Document Creative Processes & SOPs Create and maintain detailed documentation of creative processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes mapping out workflows, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing best practices to streamline creative operations. Regularly review and update processes to improve efficiency and ensure consistency across all creative projects.
- Manage Database of Imagery & Video Assets Oversee the organization and maintenance of a comprehensive database of imagery and video assets. This involves categorizing and tagging files for easy retrieval, ensuring that assets are properly archived and up-to-date, and managing access permissions. Ensure that the database is a reliable resource for the team and supports efficient asset management.
- Manage Relationships with Printers & Other Outside Resources Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with printers and other external resources. This includes negotiating contracts for small-scale print projects, managing production schedules, and ensuring that all external vendors meet quality and deadline expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for all external resource-related inquiries and issues.
- Stepping In To Help Execute Design Assets Where Needed To Support The Team Provide hands-on support by stepping in to execute design tasks as needed to assist the team. This includes creating design assets, troubleshooting design issues, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards and deadlines. Be flexible and responsive to team needs to ensure smooth project execution.
- Responsible for Review of Event Design Assets Produced before Submitting for Print Conduct thorough reviews of event design assets to ensure they meet quality standards before being sent to print. This involves checking for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design specifications. Work closely with designers and other team members to make necessary revisions and ensure that all assets are print-ready.
- Point of Contact for Escalations Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations related to creative projects. Address and resolve issues promptly by coordinating with relevant parties, providing solutions, and communicating outcomes. Ensure that all escalations are managed effectively to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management and design experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Suite products
- Experience managing a team and company projects
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment
- Possesses a solid grasp of all basic design principles including video, motion graphics and photography.
- Organized, accurate and deadline-oriented
- Friendly personality and the ability to quickly build rapport with colleagues
- Strong communication skills
Additional Desired Skills
- Venue design/activation experience a plus
- Experience in video editing/video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Work history managing multiple brands with global brand presence
- Experience managing outside vendors and relationships and holding them accountable to brand standards
