Messangi is looking for an HR Manager that will support employees through their employment life cycle, including managing recruitment, on-boarding new joiners, answering day-to-day employee questions, and building and executing feedback processes to drive a high-performance growth culture. This person will also be responsible for working closely with the Leadership team in the design, planning, implementation and measurement of any talent related process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the local labour laws and regulations
- Coach and guide leaders and employees when making compensation, development, layoffs decisions
- Design and deliver training programs
- Interview candidates
- Drive a high performance and meritocratic culture, through competitive performance, compensation and development plans
- You'll be the point of contact and advisor for team leads with all HR-related queries. You'll manage our office and facilities team, which includes setting team events to keep team cohesion strong
- You'll look after the administration of HR tools
- Report on a weekly basis to the Executive team progress done in any of the HR spheres touching talent
- Work closely with the Finance and Administration team to ensure any talent related process runs smoothly
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in HR, Psychology
- Master's Degree (MBA or related to HR) is preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Manager or generalist position and +6 years in HR, preferably in a high growing environment - ideally in a technology or telecommunications company
- Experience having designed and executed performance management, leadership coaching, and total rewards processes
- Data-driven decision maker and pragmatic problem solver who can find root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in Multinational environments and matrix organizations
- Excellent communication (in English would be a plus) and conflict management skills
- Goal orientation, ability to work under pressure and to deal with sensitive and confidential information
