Housekeeping Associate

The
Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of The Agora’s Mt. Vernon Campus. This includes cleaning, restocking supplies, and ensuring all common areas are presentable and well-maintained throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities


  • Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, coffee supplies, dish soap, etc.).
  • Maintain and clean coffee machines, including refilling products and wiping down hardware.
  • Keep kitchens clean, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning sinks and appliances, sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
  • Sanitize restrooms, including cleaning toilets and sinks, emptying trash, and mopping floors.
  • Maintain building entrances, ensuring they are swept, mopped, and free of debris.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from all areas.
  • Perform daily dusting and glass cleaning throughout the building.
  • Vacuum the entire building once a week.
  • Disinfect door handles every other day.
  • Mop all floor surfaces weekly or as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For


  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies.
  • Comfortable using a backpack or push vacuum and maneuvering up and down stairs with equipment.
  • Ability to move throughout the campus on foot or by car as needed.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to follow instructions from leadership.

This role is essential to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment at The Agora. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.Compensation - $16 per hourApply today and join our team!
