Our Installation software helps software companies to deliver an installation experience that is safe and reliable, allowing development teams to focus on what matters most.We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Agile Product Owner in India, to play a key role in the agile development of Software Monetization and Installation solutions.You will drive the development of features, product enhancements, and roadmap, ensuring that the 'voice of the business and the customer' are fully represented in the agile process. You will work with architects, product managers, marketing, and development teams to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each product release.
Job Description
Working in the Software Monetization product lines, help deliver value for the FlexNet Operations, FlexNet Licensing, and compliance products.
Responsibilities
- Create epics and user stories by collaborating with product managers, marketing, and engineering, identifying clear acceptance criteria for each
- Work with Product Managers to create roadmaps and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories
- Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision and scope for each product change, and then gather the technical details of the feature breakdown
- Actively participate in the agile processes, as a team product owner
- Remove or mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of sprint goals
- Support Product Management with customer research and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders on feature development
- Be a product ambassador and expert among stakeholders - engineers, managers, and technical support staff
- Support customer interactions, specifically when validating new functionality or collating information about enhancement requests or defects
Required Skills and Knowledge
- BA/BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science degree
- Technical experience developing and deploying complex SaaS software products
- Detailed knowledge of the principles and constraints involved when designing and building multi-platform on-prem software
- Strong understanding of business-to-business software, and the way applications and devices interact in air-gapped, hybrid and online environments including semi-conductor manufacturing, medical, industrial, and other highly technical design scenarios
- Knowledge of modern approaches to software monetization in a SaaS/hybrid context
- Time-management and prioritization skills, and attention to detail
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, especially applied to understanding and communicating product ideas to teams and to stakeholders
- Flexible with working times as some meetings with our US-based teams may fall into the evening hours
