Cognicion LLC, a boutique eDiscovery services and information management provider is actively recruiting a motivated, introductory-level Application Support Analyst to assist various internal work teams. The role provides support to a variety of tools, platforms, applications, processes, and requirements for eDiscovery and cyber security breach response technologies and internal workflows. May also lead project work related to future use and development of new technologies and applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collaborates, assists, and works with internal teams to optimize the use of internal applications and eDiscovery data collection and review platforms including troubleshooting technology-based issues.
- Assists in the research, programming, development and deployment of technology solutions, which may include:
- eDiscovery services: automating workflows within Relativity and Everlaw;
- Cyber Breach response services: automating workflow and notification reports in MS Excel, SQL Server or other database formats;
- Analytics: Brainspace, structured data analytics, AI and predictive coding as well as GenAI capabilities in platforms such as Relativity AiR, Everlaw AI, Canopy, TackleAI and others for eDiscovery and cyber matters;
- Project Management: Ticketing systems and collaboration tools;
- Visual Analytic and Reporting: Microsoft Power BI; and
- Collaboration: SharePoint and Teams.
- Assists in developing and preparing standardized and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
- Provides data workflow support, including data intake, data processing and migration, productions, etc.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and effective use of time e.g., ability to plan daily work, set priorities and manage time to ensure work is timely and efficiently completed.
- Demonstrates flexibility, e.g., willing to adjust to changes in job requirements and scheduling, as well as the ability to complete projects with oversight and guidance from project managers.
- Demonstrates the ability to be a valuable, reliable and resourceful part of a project team who helps scope, design and deliver project goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience managing data and technology related to eDiscovery, Data Privacy, Cyber Security or other applicable field preferred.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization and/or specific direction exists.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Products and other technology platforms; strong working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Working knowledge of eDiscovery technologies (Relativity, Everlaw, Brainspace, etc.) or any complimentary technology in the fields of Data Privacy, Cyber Security, or Computer Forensics preferred.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, scripting languages, batch files, text editors or similar tools preferred.
