In this role, you will lead software development efforts, architect solutions, and implement AI-driven applications that enhance our digital transformation capabilities. You will help modernize legacy systems and contribute to our commitment to providing industry-leading solutions through innovative products and agile methodologies.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sophisticated software solutions that meet complex requirements for defense and space systems
- Lead implementation of DevSecOps practices including continuous integration, deployment, and security testing
- Architect and develop cloud-native applications utilizing microservices and containerization
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Drive code quality initiatives through code reviews, automated testing, and best practices
- Contribute to technical decision-making and solution architecture
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help improve development processes
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and related services
- Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD implementation and DevSecOps practices
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and best practices
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active security clearance
- Experience developing software for defense or space systems
- Understanding of electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) operations
- Specialty in data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity with security compliance requirements for government systems
- Experience with automated security testing and vulnerability management
