Security Data Entry Intern
Time Period: 3-6 months Hourly: 25-40 hours per weekPaid: $20/hourSecurity Data Entry Interns are expected to handle customer-facing report creation, working to collect data hosted on various cybersecurity technologies, and bringing this into a cohesive, consumable report for Lumifi customers.
Primary Duties
- Retrieve necessary data from remote systems
- Utilizing various automations, transpose created data into a customer deliverable report
- Summarize findings into informative, accessible written descriptions that convey notable report outliers or high-importance findings
- Assist with data management and analysis and data quality assurance
- Verify and validate data accuracy and completeness
- Develop methods and techniques to optimize data collection and analysis
- Prepare reports and present reports to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of incident response methodologies and associated reporting
- Experience using ticketing systems for tracking (JIRA, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are required to document and communicate findings, escalate critical incidents, and interact with customers
- You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and have a passion for working with data

Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level knowledge of cybersecurity logging, vulnerability management, and account auditing
- Previous experience in Tableau, PowerBI, and/or Zendesk Explore a plus
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, incidents, and alerting a plus
- Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science Majors a plus This internship is not limited to college seniors or recent graduates. We also invite and encourage experienced professionals who may be looking for a career change to apply. Interns are not eligible for Lumifi benefits.
