The Software Engineer Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience and learn about the various aspects of those functions at arrivia with our 10-week paid internship program. Our internships provide real-world learning opportunities in a fun environment to help build future careers. The IT Intern will work with a variety of different members of the team to acquire a broad knowledge of IT as a whole.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of software languages
- Transform large amounts of data
- Work side-by-side with other technology professionals that are designing, coding, and testing applications
- Assist in problem solving and researching
- Completes all other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Candidates pursuing a graduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Passion for technology and software
- Analytical problem solving, troubleshooting skills, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience managing data
- Understanding of web applications such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# and Java
- Basic knowledge of database structure, data retrieval/manipulation, and analysis technology stack and language such as SQL, Python and BI tools.
