  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • 2 + years of quality technician experience in an ISO9001 manufacturing environment building hardware products
  • Experience with Mechanical and Test Equipment use, i.e. calipers, digital microscopes
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical assembly drawings, plumbing and instrumentation documentation
  • Experience using hand tools for mechanical and electrical inspection is required (torque drivers, feeler gauges, calipers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc)
  • Experience with PCB testing and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in using Windows operating systems, navigating file trees, and installing software and drivers
  • Experience with inspecting and assembling to IPC 610 & 620 standards
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally

You will...

  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • First article inspection of components for new and changed designs and suppliers
  • Update and assist in the development of inspection procedures
  • Maintain quality and timely flow of production materials to work centers
  • Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations
  • Generate nonconformance reports for discrepancies including material defects found during IQA
  • Participate in MRB process including containment and segregation of suspected nonconforming material, assisting in investigations and testing activities, and providing detailed findings to the team
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Report potential quality problems and take preventative action

In order to maintain equitable internal pay practices, we aim to hire new employees near the midpoint of $36.06 per hour, taking into account your experience, work location, certifications, and the unique skills you bring to the role.
