Senior Data Scientist

Role Summary

• Aggregation of Data Cloud usage data across product features and prototyping of curated datasets to provide detailed usage insights, to be used in providing a consolidated data product for leadership
• Define and analyze new growth metrics to be used in quantifying a Data Cloud flywheel.
• Analyze relationships between usage patterns and success criteria (such as retention and increases in usage) across different customer cohorts to reveal insights into what factors make Data Cloud customers more likely to adopt and retain the product.
• Time-series analysis of customer patterns in consumption of Data Cloud credits over time, to provide critical visibility into usage acceleration rates and seasonal patterns.

• Enable us to deliver on a much wider range of impactful requests from Data Cloud leadership that are critical for executive decision-making and understanding of Data Cloud success.
• Expand the data products that we can deliver to address the needs of decision-makers across Data Cloud.
• Deliver actionable insights to maintain and accelerate the Data Cloud flywheel.

Required Skills

• An ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills with Python or R.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Proficient in Statistical analysis and ML.
• Business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Good communicator in written and verbal form, ability to present insights effectively.
