The position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of our organization’s information technology infrastructure.  This is a management role that requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and excellent communication skills.  The ideal candidate will be a versatile IT professional with a broad networking/IT support skillset and a strong hands-on approach to problem solving.

Major Areas of Responsibility: 


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the IT department, to include Maintenance of internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
  • Ensure IT vendors conduct regular audits of computer systems, networks, and other external resources.
  • Develop IT Policies and Procedures.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
  • Lead IT department team member/s, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Education and Experience:


  • Knowledge and experience with Cloud based server network environment (Microsoft Azure), LAN/WAN, Firewall Appliances, MS Exchange Server, MS SQL, VMware Vsphere/Microsoft,
  • Knowledge of computing and networking hardware and peripheral equipment.
  • Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
  • Integration/implementation/administration experience with ERP(NetSuite) systems desirable.
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
  • Ability to lead a team and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years (10+ years in lieu of bachelor’s degree) of experience in Information Technology.
  • A+, MCSE, ITIL, or other standard network technology certifications preferred.
  • 2 years prior experience managing a small team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Adheres to all policy and conduct standards and embraces the culture of Express.

Additional Requirements:


  • Up to 10% travel, limited to assigned market/regions (if applicable).
  • This position requires you to have close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
  • Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)..
  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).

Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:

  • Operate a motor vehicle
  • Stand – Walk – Lift – Climb – Talk – Hear
  • Can lift up to 60 pounds
