WHO YOU ARE:


The Senior Product Manager leads the Product Life Cycle and strongly contribute to the research & development activities related to the design and development of our products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products. The individual will work with Zinnia’s Product Organization to ensure alignment with organization’s strategy and vision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:


  • Lead & Contribute into the execution of product lifecycle processes for our InsurTech products, works with a cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
  • Lead technical discussions with Engineering teams & thoroughly manage technical/business requirements
  • Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
  • May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
  • Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:


  • 8-12 years of experience into Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor’s/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field
  • Strong Background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
  • Ability to foster teamwork, build collaborative relationships, and showcase excellent work ethic 
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise
  • Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional, global team
  • Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, not mandatory
