The Role & The Team


Druva is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this role will be responsible for overseeing the monthly Revenue Accounting close process while ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do


  • Lead and assist with the monthly revenue close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and financial reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards
  • Responsible for preparing and/or updating accounting policy memos, including researching technical accounting topics
  • Assist with the transformation and automation of Druva’s revenue-related operations and infrastructure to enable scale and deal velocity, including partnering cross-functionally and performing user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Assist with developing and documenting public company-caliber controls and procedures, including narratives and risk control matrices
  • Responsible for working with the external auditors to provide the required support for the quarterly reviews and annual audit
  • Supporting accounting projects and analysis for Druva’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) program, as necessary
  • Assist with other special projects / adhoc as needed

What We Are Looking For


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA, or equivalent certification
  • 8+ years of combined experience in industry and Big 4 public accounting
  • Experience in the software or SaaS industry is a plus
  • Technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606
  • Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaborative, and ability to work cross-functionally at all levels
  • Must be a self-starter, team player, and able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $162,000 and $227,333/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
