The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, AI Marketer at Podium, you will be responsible for defining and delivering an AI-powered marketing solution designed specifically for local businesses. Your work will empower small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to engage their customers more effectively, drive sales, and optimize marketing efforts with minimal effort. You will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for an AI-driven marketing automation tool that serves as a "virtual marketing employee" for SMBs.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to develop and scale AI-powered marketing solutions that automate content generation, audience targeting, campaign optimization, and performance tracking.This is an opportunity to lead the development of a category-defining product, leveraging AI to simplify and supercharge marketing for SMBs. You will engage with customers weekly, analyze data to inform decisions, and work cross-functionally to execute a compelling product vision that differentiates Podium in the market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the AI Marketer product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with Podium’s mission to help local businesses grow.
- Define and execute a go-to-market strategy for Podium’s AI-powered marketing automation tools.
- Drive adoption and usage of AI-driven marketing features across Podium’s platform.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to build AI-powered campaign automation, personalization, and optimization features that help businesses run effective marketing campaigns with minimal manual effort.
- Work closely with data science and AI/ML teams to refine AI models for marketing automation, ensuring content relevance, targeting accuracy, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to drive feature adoption and customer education.
- Engage weekly with customers to understand marketing pain points, validate solutions, and refine the product experience.
- Define and track key success metrics, leveraging data to drive continuous product improvements.
- Research and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform roadmap decisions.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate AI Marketer seamlessly with other Podium AI Employees and CRM capabilities.
About You:
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on AI-powered software, marketing automation, CRM, or growth-focused products.
- Must be able to come into our Lehi, UT office full-time (Monday-Friday)
- Early adopter of AI tools, with a strong vision for how AI is transforming software and marketing.
- Proven track record of delivering AI-driven solutions that automate and optimize customer engagement.
- Deep understanding of SMB marketing challenges and how AI can simplify marketing for time-strapped business owners.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward ownership, execution, and impact.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently initiate and drive projects with minimal guidance.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with experience working cross-functionally across engineering, design, data science, and GTM teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex AI-driven solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
