You'll join our product team to solve problems for specific industries like auto dealers, home services, healthcare providers, and retail businesses. You'll work directly with our product managers to build AI features that address real business challenges in these verticals. Your work will impact thousands of local businesses that use Podium daily.
Responsibilities:
- Research vertical-specific workflows to identify where AI can have the biggest impact
- Analyze conversation data to find patterns that can improve our AI agents
- Help develop knowledge bases and decision trees for industry-specific AI agents
- Create metrics to measure AI performance in different vertical contexts
- Work with engineers to test and refine vertical AI features
- Talk directly with customers to gather feedback on our vertical solutions
- Identify key integration points with industry-specific systems
- Help prioritize which vertical features should be built next
What you’ll learn

Requirements:
- Student in Computer Science or similar fields
- Demonstrated experience building with AI technologies through coursework, side projects, or hackathons (e.g., creating custom LLM applications, fine-tuning models, or developing AI-driven solutions)
- Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with at least one business vertical (auto, healthcare, home services, retail) is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Team player who takes responsibility and shares credit
