About the role
We are looking for a highly experienced, product-minded Full Stack Engineer to join our small, skilled, and fast-moving team.We use full stack TypeScript, with React on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. Shipping features will require you to contribute across the stack.
- Take ownership of our REST API, client libraries, and ensure a seamless API-first developer experience
- End-to-end feature ownership, interacting with customers and our community to understand their needs
- Expand your knowledge of the robotics and self-driving industries
- Work alongside an experienced team on a cutting edge product
Location
We're a small, remote-only company, with staff in the U.S., Europe and Australia. We meet daily to connect socially, brainstorm, and share progress.For this position, we're looking for someone located in U.S. time zones.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years professional experience in full stack JavaScript/TypeScript engineering
- Professional experience creating idiomatic SQL-backed REST APIs
- Experience implementing, deploying, and scaling production Node.js services
- Professional experience using frontend frameworks and client libraries
- Passion for building technical tools with engineers as the primary users
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment
Bonus points
- Experience creating APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger
- Experience with multiple database systems
What we offer
- For this role we offer $175,000 to $225,000 salary, depending on experience
