We are looking for a Software Engineer - AI to join our team and help integrate artificial intelligence into our platform. In this role, you will work with product and engineering teams to explore and implement AI-driven capabilities, leveraging APIs from models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others.This is an opportunity to build AI-powered features from the ground up, working on both backend integration and AI automation. What you’ll be doing:
- AI Integration & Development: Implement AI-powered features by integrating APIs from OpenAI, Gemini, and other providers.
- Backend AI Development: Build and optimize backend services that efficiently leverage AI capabilities while ensuring security and compliance.
- Prototyping & Experimentation: Rapidly test AI use cases, evaluating feasibility, performance, and cost.
- Collaboration with Product & Engineering: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities and bring them to production.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Ensure AI-powered features deliver reliable, accurate, and explainable results in production environments.
- Scalability & Future AI Enhancements: Contribute to the long-term AI roadmap, supporting potential fine-tuning and expanded AI capabilities in the future.
Tech Stack:
- Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB
- AI & APIs: OpenAI (ChatGPT), Gemini, Claude, and similar APIs
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, microservices architecture
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend development.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.) into applications.
- Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, contributing to AI development and adoption.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with fine-tuning LLMs or working with vector databases.
- Experience with AI monitoring, cost optimization, or AI-driven automation.
- Prior experience in financial services or fintech.
- Experience working in high-growth startups.
