If you're passionate about driving digital transformation, influencing product strategy, and enabling customer success through industrial analytics—this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:


As the Industry Principal for Power & Utilities, you’ll be the go-to expert guiding Seeq’s strategy, innovation, and go-to-market efforts within this vertical. Your role will bridge deep industry knowledge, technical insight, and strategic business development to:

Industry Expertise


  • Provide thought leadership and actionable insights across the power and utilities landscape.
  • Analyze trends, evolving regulations, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop and execute strategies tailored to this sector.

Business Development


  • Identify new market opportunities and build relationships with strategic stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales to close deals and scale growth using your industry acumen.

Solution Development


  • Lead industry offer strategy to inform a 3-year product roadmap.
  • Advocate for industry-specific product features and enhancements.
  • Ensure solutions align with both regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Marketing & Outreach


  • Partner with marketing to craft compelling campaigns and content.
  • Represent Seeq at industry conferences, events, webinars, and our annual Conneqt conference.
  • Deliver presentations and thought leadership that resonate with executives and decision-makers.

Customer Engagement


  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives at key accounts.
  • Consult directly with customers to understand pain points and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Collect feedback to guide product development and strategy.

Requirements


What We’re Looking For:


Education & Background


  • Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in power and utilities or with technology providers for the industry.
  • Proven track record in a strategic, customer-facing role.

Domain Expertise


  • Deep knowledge of North American and European regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of operational use cases in power and utilities.
  • Experience with digital transformation, energy management, or industrial analytics.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, AI, or industrial IoT technologies.
  • Experience with Seeq or similar industrial analytics platforms is a plus.

Soft Skills & Attributes


  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—especially with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a remote, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker who balances vision with execution.
