Want to make a real impact on how freelancers and clients connect and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment? Our Product Design team is looking for a passionate intern to join our Transaction tribe and contribute to the evolution of Malt! You'll be at the forefront of designing features that simplify and streamline the Compliance process—a critical aspect of our platform—ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone involved.Imagine: You'll be designing solutions that empower companies and freelancers to collaborate seamlessly and autonomously, while also ensuring compliance.
This means understanding the needs of diverse users (clients, freelancers, and internal teams) and crafting intuitive, efficient workflows. You'll be working on core features of our platform, directly contributing to its success and gaining hands-on experience in a real-world design setting.This Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to tackle real-world design challenges and learn from experienced professionals. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team (Product Manager, Engineers, Data Analysts) and receive mentorship from a Lead Designer. Our dedicated Design Ops team will provide support, freeing you to focus on what you love: creating user-centered designs that scale. You'll be designing solutions that simplify compliance for clients, freelancers, and internal users, making a tangible difference in their experience on Malt.
Designer's north stars ✨
We value designers who are empathetic, curious, and driven to solve problems. Your role will involve more than just creating interfaces; you'll be translating business requirements into impactful UX & UI solutions that deliver real value to our users. You'll be challenged to think strategically and contribute to the overall user experience.
Key responsibilities ✨:
- In collaboration with our Lead Designer, you will be at the heart of the thinking and production of new features for our beloved users
- You will conduct researches, interview users to understand their needs and propose adapted solutions, run usability tests and validate or improve those solutions
- Be responsible for the consistency of our user experience, contributing to our Design System, while taking it step-by-step to the next level
- You will collaborate with the various teams (engineering, data, brand, marketing...) and follow-up of the implementation of your work with the tech team
Malt is constantly evolving and good ideas are always listened to, so you will have the opportunity to lead projects that are close to your heart and in line with the product’s development.
What you'll bring to the table 🧑🚀:
- Looking for an apprenticeship
- Passion & Attitude: A genuine enthusiasm for user experience complemented by a proactive mindset.
- Experience: you’re a student in UX Design, and/or you have a first experience in an agency/start-up, showcasing your ability to develop user-centric designs.
- Curiosity & Methodology: A keen interest in Hypothesis Driven Development and Design Thinking, with practical experience in these areas.
- Research & Data Analytics: strong research capabilities and proficiency in using data analytics to inform design decisions.
- Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to integrate swiftly with teams.
- Language: Good command of English to thrive in our international team. French is a plus.
