About the role
The Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new customers. They are naturally curious, eager to learn, and will be focused on hunting for revenue by building relationships that allow them to understand their pain points and opportunities for the HqO platform to add value and enhance their offering to their tenants. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a track record of quota achievement and high performance. They are driven, focused, organized, and motivated by money. This role will be based in HqO’s headquarters in Boston and have the ability to be in the office on a regular basis when they are not traveling to meet with prospects in major metros around the US.
Expected travel is 5-7 days/month.
What you'll do
- Manage market expansion including sales and revenue delivery for regional landlords with up to 10M sqft of office space
- Educate customers about the importance of Tenant Experience and the impact HqO can have on the building operations and tenant satisfaction
- Achieve mutually agreed revenue and growth targets
- Prospect, and engage net-new prospects on HqO’s offering and value proposition
- Manage the end-end sales cycle and engage other internal resources as needed
- Drive HqO’s market expansion by leveraging a strategic sales process
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis on the health of the business through Salesforce
- Be a hunter and hustler in order to own the market and relationships at the landlord and influencer level
What you bring
- 5+ years of previous success achieving or beating sales objectives in enterprise software or SaaS environment
- Experience selling to stakeholders within, or direct experience in Commercial Real Estate: Proptech Sales, Leasing strongly preferred
- A self-starter
- Data proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Passion for technology and being a part of a start-up
- A collaborative spirit with a dedication to helping out as part of a team
- B.A. or equivalent from an accredited 4-year educational institution
