About The Job


As the IT Lead/Manager at RADAR, you will oversee the entire IT function, including infrastructure management, security, support, and strategy. You will serve as the go-to resource for all technology-related matters and be responsible for SOC compliance and other critical security frameworks. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a balance of vision, expertise, and execution.

Responsibilities:


IT Strategy & Roadmap


  • Develop and implement an IT roadmap aligned with RADAR’s business objectives.
  • Identify and lead technology-driven initiatives to support growth and innovation.
  • Provide technical recommendations and insights to leadership teams.

Infrastructure Management


  • Oversee company-wide networks, servers, and cloud environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Implement best practices for system maintenance, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, or managed service providers as needed.

Security & Compliance


  • Establish and enforce robust security protocols, policies, and controls.
  • Drive and maintain SOC compliance initiatives, including SOC 2 audits, documentation, and ongoing adherence to relevant controls.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Respond to and resolve any security breaches or incidents.

Vendor & Budget Management


  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors for hardware, software, and services.
  • Develop, track, and manage the annual IT budget, optimizing costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance.

Technical Support & Operations


  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day IT support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and excellent end-user support.
  • Define SLAs, track KPIs, and continuously improve operational processes.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledge bases for IT procedures.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery


  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Test and update recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime and data loss in the event of an incident.

Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Work closely with teams across the organization (Product, Engineering, Finance, HR, etc.) to address technology requirements.
  • Communicate IT updates and project statuses effectively to leadership and key stakeholders.

About You


Required:

 Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

 Experience:


  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT roles, ideally handling both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, security, and support operations for a growing organization.

  Technical Expertise:


  • Solid understanding of networks (LAN/WAN), servers, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with SOC 2 compliance (or other relevant security frameworks, such as ISO 27001).
  • Expertise in identity and access management (IAM) solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and directory services (Active Directory, Okta, Azure AD).
  • Knowledge of productivity tools (e.g., Office 365 or Google Workspace), identity and access management, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

At RADAR, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The expected base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - $175,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors,  including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.You will also be eligible to receive other benefits including: equity, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life and disability benefits, 401k plan,  flexible time off, and paid parental leave. The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Research has shown that women & underrepresented minorities are more likely to read lists of requirements and consider themselves unqualified if they don't meet every single one.
