We're seeking a Social Media Strategist to steer our social presence, shape our digital narrative, and elevate the Bellroy community and brand across platforms. As a certified B-Corp and for-purpose brand that exists to gear people up to move in the good direction, we need a strategic thinker who can translate our vibrant stories and considered product designs into compelling social strategies that resonate.

As our Social Media Strategist, you'll develop and execute social strategies that engage our community of 800,000+ global followers across multiple platforms. Leading the vision for our social presence and with the freedom to innovate, you’ll collaborate closely with our in-house creative team to bring concepts to life. Your focus will be on identifying opportunities, crafting platform-specific strategies and content plans, and providing clear direction to ensure maximum impact.You'll pioneer new approaches to community engagement, explore emerging platforms, and position Bellroy as a leader in the space.

Through data-driven insights and trend analysis you'll continuously refine our social strategy and lead the evolution of our digital presence. Bring us your strategic mindset, eye for detail, and drive for results. YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE… 


  • Have 3-5 years of experience in social media strategy and direction (bonus points if this is for a product or consumer-facing brand) with demonstrated expertise in crafting approaches that align with overarching marketing goals 
  • Excel at creating precise content briefs to drive innovative solutions
  • Have strong analytical skills to identify trends, measure performance, and translate data into actionable insights 
  • Demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders while providing creative direction and feedback that enhances content quality in our brand voice
  • Possess a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g., Facebook, X, Reddit, Instagram) and emerging social media trends, consistently updating your approach to align with platform changes

  • Led a strategy session to define our approach for an upcoming campaign across Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest
  • Developed comprehensive briefs for the creative team, outlining content needs and objectives 
  • Analysed platform performance data to identify opportunities and optimise our content strategy 
  • Collaborated with the creative team to refine content direction based on performance metrics 
  • Identified emerging platform opportunities and developed testing strategies 
  • Created platform-specific content calendars and campaign frameworks
  • Provided strategic input on community management approaches

This is a full-time role based in our Collingwood (Melbourne) head office, with flexible work arrangements available.
