Trueline is seeking a Civil Construction CAD Technician to join their team in the Bronx, New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major parkway project, utilizing your skills in AutoCAD and civil engineering.

What You'll Do as the Civil Construction CAD Technician:


  • Create and modify models and drawings for roadways, drainage systems, bridges, and construction staging
  • Develop horizontal alignments and vertical profiles for project designs
  • Generate field layout data for survey crews and incorporate their feedback into models and drawings
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards
  • Maintain and organize project files and drawings for efficient access and updates
  • Embrace new technologies to enhance your skill set and contribute to project innovation

Must-Haves as the Civil Construction CAD Technician:


  • 2-3 years of experience in civil construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to occasionally visit construction sites and navigate uneven terrain
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use various office equipment

Nice-To-Haves as the Civil Construction CAD Technician:


  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficiency in additional CAD or design software platforms
  • Knowledge of infrastructure project workflows and standards
