THE INTERNSHIP
Let’s set the record straight: this is not a mystery shopper job. You won’t be secretly timing interactions, filling out surveys, or rating how friendly the cashier was. Instead, you’ll be conducting structured, high-impact field research that directly informs executive-level business decisions.You’ll visit brand locations in Texas as a field researcher, where you will conduct structured field research, evaluating how major brands engage with customers, leverage technology, and run operations.
But this isn’t just about taking notes—you’ll analyze your findings, collaborate with our strategy team, and contribute to executive-level reports that shape digital transformation decisions for some of the biggest names in Hospitality, Entertainment, and Retail.This is a hands-on opportunity to develop consulting, research, and business analysis skills while working on real-world client challenges.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct on-site visits to brand locations, anonymously evaluating customer journeys, employee interactions, and operational effectiveness.
- Document observations thoroughly, capturing insights about what’s working well, what’s not, and opportunities for digital improvements.
- Synthesize your field experiences into clear, actionable reports and assessments.
- Collaborate with Frogslayer’s research and strategy teams to integrate field observations with company financial data, earnings call insights, and investor materials.
- Contribute directly to creating CX Audits and Digital Assessments presented to senior executives of leading brands.
YOU'LL LEARN HOW TO
- Analyze and report on customer experience and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Develop strategic recommendations and insights targeted at senior executives.
- Combine qualitative and quantitative data to support digital transformation initiatives.
