SCOPE & BASIC FUNCTION
:
- This position is vital to the Customer Order Fulfillment process and to our goal of satisfying our customers by controlling inventory accuracy, receipt of goods, and shipments to customers.
- Maintain an accurate inventory (98% or better)
- Maintain accurate shipping (98% or better)
- Assure the timely & accurate shipment of customer orders and receipt of purchase orders to specifications.
- Actively problem solve to improve the operation of the warehouse and the Customer
- Order Fulfillment Process.
- Interact well with each other and with other departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
:
- Regular attendance is required to maintain the functions of the job
- Operate material handling equipment to pick orders, put away product, load and unload trucks.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment to keep it in good operating condition.
- Maintain the computerized inventory records to assure a high level of inventory accuracy. Perform cycle counts and physical inventories as necessary.
- Receive incoming goods and assure they are processed properly and delivered in a timely manner.
- Pick orders according to instructions. Ship orders by the requested ship date.
- Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe work habits.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER SKILLS
:
- Minimum 1 year warehouse experience w/RF & WMS experience desired
- High school diploma or GED required
- Self starter
- Aptitude for problem solving
- Strong basic math and reading skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to safely operate a forklift (stand-up or sit-down) and other material handling equipment such as manual pallet jacks
- Proficiency in reading and writing English
- Ability to pass the SR1 qualification test in English
