We are currently seeking a Senior Reporting Specialist to lead and refine internal and external reporting functions in support of our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) customer’s operations. This role involves developing data-driven reports, dashboards, and executive-level briefings that promote transparency, support informed decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.Location: Arlington, VA / Annapolis Junction, MD / Colorado Springs, CO (On-site; SCIF access may be required)

Clearance Requirement:

Secret or TS/SCI depending on assigned data

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop standardized and ad hoc reports based on operational and analytical data.
  • Perform data aggregation, trend analysis, and visualization to support leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate data from disparate systems into cohesive reporting structures.
  • Maintain and enhance analytic tools and dashboards for operational and mission performance.
  • Ensure all reporting complies with DHS data handling and classification policies.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, SOPs, and data governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in federal reporting, performance measurement, or data visualization.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with classified reporting workflows and NISPOM/ICD compliance requirements.

Compensation and Benefits


The estimated compensation range for this position is between $130,000 and $150,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels.
