Job Description
The Cloud Engineer plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This position requires a blend of technical skills and hands-on experience in cloud operations within dynamic environments. You will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based systems, ensuring their reliability and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure. Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Deploy cloud-based applications and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure.
Automation and Scripting
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automation solutions.
- Ensure that automation scripts are well-documented and maintainable.
Security and Compliance
- Implement security best practices for cloud environments.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud initiatives.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and end-users.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for cloud systems. v
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in cloud operations or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
