Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with strong experience in Python, particularly using Django and Celery, to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient server-side applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS services, a good understanding of asynchronous task processing, and enjoys solving challenging backend problems.Responsibilities:· Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Django· Implement background task processing with Celery and Redis/RabbitMQ· Build scalable and resilient systems deployed on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, etc.)· Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps to ship high-quality features· Write clean, well-documented, and testable code· Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues· Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices· Participate in code reviews and help mentor junior developers
Qualifications
· 4+ years of backend development experience using Python· Strong proficiency with Django and Django REST Framework· Solid experience with Celery for background task management· Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)· Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS· Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools· Good understanding of software engineering best practices (unit testing, version control, architecture)Preffered:· Experience with FastAPI or Flask· Knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka· Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)· Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)· Experience with microservices architecture· Understanding of serverless architecture (AWS Lambda)
