IT Project Manager
ROLE SUMMARY:Sepire is seeking a talented IT Project Manager to join the Sepire's technology team in office. As a PM within our IT organization, you will be responsible for managing varying technology initiatives from initiation to delivery.We are looking for a candidate with strong aptitude to drive and deliver cutting-edge technical solutions and to deliver significant improvements to our customers. These efforts require working and communicating with multiple teams within or across organizations and senior leadership.
The candidate must possess the qualities of a team player while showing strong leadership and independence to successfully deliver multiple projects. This candidate should have a “hands-on” approach with supporting and providing solutions to our customers.The IT PM will work alongside product management and systems development teams and be responsible to deliver technology, tools, and processes to our customers throughout the organization. This candidate must have the ability to exercise good judgement and possess problem-solving skills to deliver in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment that may require creative/novel solutions.RESPONSIBILITIES:The IT Project Manager is a critical new hire who will have the opportunity to actively participate in the evolution of project management methodology, tools, and resources.
Specifically, this PM will:•Manage a portfolio of IT infrastructure or client specific initiatives•Follow and help improve practices, templates, policies, and tools for managing projects. Assess current state/tools and make recommendations on future state/tools.•Coordinate all aspects of projects to support strategic objectives and ensure alignment, predictability, velocity, and accountability.•Monitor, track, and control issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path items•Define success criteria for projects or break down projects to structure for success.•Report on project status, results, and metricsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:•2+ years PM in a technology platform environment for task management (Jira, Asana, etc.)•Experience with methodologies such as waterfall or scrum/Agile•Preferred experience with Microsoft business tools such as Office365, Sharepoint, Microsoft Dynamics•Self-motivated, strong communicator who’s empathetic and skilled at interacting with different roles and skill levels of clients/team-members.•Bachelor’s Degree in technology, business, or liberal arts•Print, Direct Mail, Marketing Journey industry experience a plus•Startup experience a plus
