Full-timeDescriptionPosition is responsible for General Rotary/Reciprocating service work. Can perform break fix, troubleshoot, warranty and preventive maintenance.Continues to Learn, adjust, and strive for best overall communication practices and technical knowledge. Training on Theory will be focused heavily during this time.
Skill Set:
- Can perform Simple Break fix/Trouble shoot & Preventative Maintenance with minimal call backs.
- Is Organized and completes all necessary paperwork to include quotes, service reports, checklists and any other document required.
- Communicates with Supervision when issues arise.
- Has Customer First attitude
- Manages Time Effectively
Training:
- Has Completed Ingersoll Rand Basic Rotary.
- Is enrolled in Sierra Training.
- External Electrical training will be provided if needed.
- OJT – should ride along when necessary with Senior/Master Technicians.
- Nirvana, Dryers, Centrifugal and other trainings as determined by Supervision.
- Theory Based In-House Training will be set up by customer’s demand.
Experience:
- Has shown character qualities to be successful in communication, customer service and time management.
- Desired background in either Electrical, mechanical, or other trade that is relevant to our industry.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to be able to move about the facility (standing, walking, kneeling) and customer sites, varying by location. Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Occasionally required to work in elevated areas. Exert force of 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 25-50 lbs. frequently, 10-20 lbs. constantly.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Must comply with company safety and PPE requirements.
- Must comply with customer safety and PPE requirements, as directed, varying by job-site location and task to be performed.
- Varying with task, will be required to wear safety glasses, hard hat, safety-toe shoes, arc-flash equipment (NFPA 70E or equivalent) and other safety equipment as defined by OSHA, Company, or other regulatory entity.
Work Environment:
- Field service environment working at customers’ job-sites. May be required to work overtime, weekends and on-call.
- Occasionally exposed to work conditions in extreme temperatures and loud environments.
