Day in the Life of a Delivery Operations Associate
As a Delivery Operations Associate at Neocol, you will ensure seamless coordination between Sales and Delivery. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining the Neocol Delivery Forecast and confirming accuracy in project planning, resource allocation, and revenue flow. This position requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and managing shifting priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Delivery Alignment:
- Act as the bridge between Sales and Delivery by ensuring accurate project tracking and resource planning.
- Enter new projects into FinancialForce PSA, building resource plans accordingly.
- Adjust project start dates and forecasted hours to align with shifting client expectations and deal closures.
- Evaluate the likelihood of deals moving or changing and adjust forecasts accordingly.
Project Oversight & Coordination:
- Review contracts and resource plans to ensure alignment with Neocol standards, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Facilitate handoff processes with Neocol Project Managers (PMs) to ensure smooth scope, schedule, and budget ownership transitions.
- Work with PMs to maintain resource continuity for project extensions.
Forecast & Revenue Management:
- Maintain an understanding of revenue flow, company profitability, and resource workload to optimize forecasting.
- Utilize Certinia PSA to ensure accurate delivery forecasting and time entry.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Attend weekly meetings with Competency Leaders to optimize staffing allocations.
- Engage with the Sales Team to gain insight into pipeline activity and upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with Solution Engineers to capture key project details, skill requirements, and client nuances for a smooth Sales-to-Delivery transition.
- Create and maintain documentation of Operations processes and procedures.

Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to understand and manage shifting forecasts and their impact on resource planning and revenue forecasting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across multiple channels.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and personnel information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FinancialForce PSA or similar project management software.
- Proficiency in Google Docs suite, with a strong focus on Google Sheets.
- Experience with Salesforce administrative skills.
Expected Outcomes (First 90 Days)
- Develop strong working relationships with the Sales Team and understand key contact points for Delivery-related inquiries.
- Gain proficiency in FinancialForce PSA and effectively maintain upcoming opportunities within the system.
- Assist the PMO in forecast maintenance.
- Develop a foundational understanding of Neocol Methodology to align with company processes.
