Build and support the full stack technical implementation of world-class products and solutions using Python. Apply new technologies and problem-solving skills to create quality products and solutions for front-end applications and cloud computing platforms. Collaborate with crossfunctional peers, both internally and externally, to design and enhance our products and solutions. Drive development of large data sets using big data platforms. Own issues and risks that might impact development timeline/resources for project work.
Collaborate with other Sr. Engineering Team Members on best practices and solutions. Respond to operational needs as they arise (i.e. critical defects). Employee reports to Atlanta, GA office, but may telecommute from any location in the U.S.Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience programming in Python. Also requires 3 years of experience: analyzing and structuring large data sets; utilizing Pandas and Flask frameworks; using relational databases; using Linux and Unix systems; operating in cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure; using big data platforms, including AWS, Athena, or Hadoop; and designing, building, and optimizing front-end applications.
In lieu of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 1 year of experience as stated.
