VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLYLonestar Equipment Solutions is looking for skilled and reliable people to fill our Rental and Repair Technician opening. As a Service Technician you will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs of equipment in a safe and professional manner while delivering top-notch customer service and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of rental equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.
- Maintain safe, clean and organized shop environment.
- Ensure repair and routine maintenance schedules are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all safety protocols are met and followed.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 1-2 years of experience repairing/maintaining vehicles and equipment; or trade school graduate
- Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in warehouse conditions that are not always climate controlled and may include, heat and humidity.
- Noise level may be loud at times.
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
